Shakira brought the heat to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, May 6, with a special performance of her global hit ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ alongside Wyclef Jean. The performance marks the 20th anniversary of the song and coincides with the launch of her new North American tour, Las Mujeres Tour.

Dressed in a stunning red outfit, the Colombian superstar reminded viewers why the track became such a phenomenon. Wyclef Jean joined her onstage, delivering his signature energy and even pulling off a surprise handstand during the performance.

Originally released in 2005, ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ was Shakira’s first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to top the charts in 55 countries. It broke the record for most radio plays in a week at the time and is certified 4× Platinum in the U.S. Two decades later, the song remains one of the most iconic pop anthems of the 2000s.
