Ariana Grande has surprise-released ‘petal (The Complete Live Album)‘, a twelve-track live album available exclusively on iTunes. The release dropped on Tuesday 8th September with no prior build-up, announced via her social media channels alongside her fan account Team Ariana.
The album features live versions of every track from ‘Petal‘, her eighth studio album, released on 31st July, including ‘Kiss Me‘, ‘Petal‘, ‘Stay‘, ‘Oh Well‘, ‘Big Feelings‘, ‘Freak‘ and ‘Warning Signs‘. It also includes a version of ‘Hate That I Made You Love Me‘ recorded during tour rehearsals rather than at a live concert.
The release comes just days after the artist wrapped up her ‘Eternal Sunshine Tour‘ in London, with ten nights at the O2 — her first tour since 2019. After the tour, Grande announced she will step back from public life for a while, making this live album a parting gift for fans before her hiatus.
