Charlie Puth has announced that his highly anticipated fourth studio album will be titled ‘Whatever’s Clever!’ and is set for release on March 6, 2026, via Atlantic Records.

The American artist describes the new record as his boldest, most honest, and personal project to date. Co-produced alongside BloodPop, the album promises a clear sonic evolution while maintaining Puth’s signature style and fondness for nostalgic touches. ‘Whatever’s Clever!’ arrives four years after ‘CHARLIE’ (2022), which featured tracks such as ‘Light Switch’ and ‘Left and Right’ with BTS’ Jung Kook.

Following the release of ‘Changes‘ as the album’s lead single, Puth has now shared ‘Beat Yourself Up’ as its second promotional preview. According to the official description from Warner Music, the song turns an unresolved conversation with a friend into a universal anthem about self-criticism and compassion. Speaking about the track, the artist explained: “It’s a message about being kinder to ourselves.”
