Natalie Imbruglia has released her seventh studio album across all streaming platforms. Titled ‘Algorithm‘, it arrives five years after ‘Firebird‘ (2021) and marks a sonic shift towards sophisticated pop.
The artist co-wrote and co-produced every track on the album, working alongside collaborators including Fraser T Smith (Adele, Stormzy), Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, MyRiot and David Sneddon. The record was born during a particularly difficult period in her personal life: Imbruglia has spoken openly about how its creation coincided with the darkest chapter of her mental health journey, and how she wanted to channel that experience into something full of light.
