After a year of releasing various single tracks, Katy Perry has confirmed that the successor album to ‘Witness’ is finally a reality. In this next project, the singer will talk about mental health as well as other common themes in her discography.
For now, it is not known if this new album will include some of the songs published during the last months such as ‘Never Really Over’, ‘Small Talk’, ‘Harleys in Hawaii’ or her latest release ‘Never Worn White’, although what we do know is that this album will be published on August 14th.
The first single ‘Daisies‘ has been produced by The Monsters & The Stragberz (Dua Lipa, Maroon 5, Ellie Goulding, Zedd, Zara Larsson). This is what the artist said: “I wrote this song a couple months ago as a call to remain true to the course you’ve set for yourself, regardless of what others may think. Recently, it has taken a new meaning for me, in light of what the whole world is experiencing”.
