Iggy Azalea is back with a new single that marks his first independent release since she left Island Def Jam last year.
Produced by J. White Did It (‘“Bodak Yellow“), the track ‘Sally Walker‘ is released as the first preview of Iggy’s next studio album, an album that is described as the best thing she has ever done.
The Australian rapper returns to her beginnings with this new single in which she abandons her well-known rap-pop sound and recovers her purely rapping stage. In addition, part of the song’s melody is based on the American children’s song ‘Little Sally Walker’.
The single ‘Sally Walker’ is accompanied by an outstanding video clip directed by Colin Tilley. The clip features several RuPaul’s Drag Race stars such as Shea Couleé, Mayhem Miller and Miss Vanjie, as well as producer J. White Did It and youtuber James Charles.
