Two of the great pioneers of reggaeton, Nicky Jam, and Daddy Yankee, have come together again after 20 years of separation to shape ‘Muévelo‘, an explosive song that promises to become the first urban success of this 2020.
Fans of both artists have been wishing for the last two decades that Los Cangris would record a song together again. Now, the wait is over with this single produced by Play-N-Skillzc (Juan and Oscar Salinas), which is released with the support of Sony Music Latin and El Cartel Records.
This is what Nicky Jam has said: “Yankee is my battle brother, the past does not define who we are today, and making our fans happy is the main driver of this song“. And Daddy Yankee adds: “We wanted to come back and we wanted to do it big. To give our fans an explosive theme.
In addition, the song ‘Muévelo‘ features a small sample from the 1994 song ‘Here Comes the Hotstepper’ by Ini Kamoze, which recalls the golden age of reggae. This song will be part of the soundtrack of the film ‘Bad Boys For Life‘, which will be released in cinemas on 17th January.
