Following the recent example of other American artists such as Katy Perry or Madonna, Alicia Keys has been the next singer to sign up with one of the new Latin fashion artists.
Keys has participated in a new version of the current hit of the Puerto Rican singer Pedro Capó, ‘Calma‘, which has also had the collaboration of Farruko.
“Hearing that Alicia Keys liked the song and wanted to join us on ‘Calma’ is an honor and blessing that really transcends what I can put into words,” Capó told Billboard recently. “When we initially wrote the song, I wanted to capture and share what makes Puerto Rico so special to me, and so many of us on the island.”
This new bilingual version is accompanied by an outstanding video starred by the three singers. Directed by Edgar Esteves (J Cole, Rick Ross), the new video sees the three stars kicking it together on the beaches of Puerto Rico, before they meander into San Juan’s chillest house party.
