‘You Made My Dawn‘, the sixth extended play by the South Korean boy band Seventeen, shoots straight ahead atop the Global Album Chart with 393,000 consumption units. 338,000 of it are from the band’s native country (according to Hanteo) another 50,000 are from Japan (according to Oricon).

Second highest debut of the week is Backstreet Boys’ magic return ‘DNA’, their ninth studio album. It bows at no.2 globally with 373,000 equivalent sales. The biggest national sales were reached in the United States with 234,000, in Canada with nearly 50,000 (both figures according to Nielsen Music / Billboard) and in Japan with 30,000 (according to Oricon). The former album by the legendary boy group, ‘In A World Like This‘, peaked at no.4 with 104,000 pure sales in the week 33, 2013.

Ariana Grande‘s new smash ‘7 Rings’ remains at the summit of the Global Track Chart for a second straight week with 387,000 points, a 20% decline compared to the previous week. Also ‘Sweet But Psycho‘ by Ava Max holds tight at the runner-up slot with 268,000 points (up 2%). Rounds out this week’s all-female top three is ‘Without You‘ by Halsey, which climbs back two slots with 243,000 points (down 3%).
