Tove Lo has announced that her new studio album, ‘Sunshine Kitty’, will be out on 20th September.
Recorded between Los Angeles and Sweden, “Sunshine Kitty” represents a new chapter for the artist marked by the claim of trust and acquired wisdom and, once again, a romance in the making.
About the album, Lo said: “It’s filled with songs about naive love, teen crushes, future fears and being a vulnerable weirdo. I’m so proud of this album, and so grateful to everyone involved.” Speaking about the album title, Lo explained: “It’s a play on pussy power, but it’s a happy, positive way of seeing it.”
After releasing the tracks ‘Glad He’s Gone‘ and ‘Bad As The Boys‘, the singer has now released the single ‘Really Don’t Like U‘, with the collaboration of Kylie Minogue. The two artists come together in an outstanding song produced by Ian Kirkpatrick.
